A Very Daily Dubie Food Diary
Good Afternoon Mis Amiguitos Preciosos!!!
…Once again, I was inundated with appointments all day today, and have only NOW had a moment to ~Namaste~ and check-in with all of your beautiful eyeballs.
So here is what’s up!
Because I was running around town like a nut, my meals had to be quick and efficient!
Let me break it down for you:
Quick: Literally take NO time (less than 5 minutes) to prepare!
Efficient: Packed with a balance of healthy carbohydrates, fiber, protein, and other important minerals & enzymes!
When I’m on the go, I usually opt for 4-6 small meals, instead of 3 larger meals. In doing this, it sustains my energy levels throughout the day, and keeps me sat-is-fied!
There was very little time for planning, so I used what I had!
I am now going to provide you with a little sample “food diary,” so y’all have a better idea for how things are run in la cocina de Daily Dubie <wink wink> on a typical run-around-town kinda day:
*7am, woke up! —> Before I hit the gym for my 30 minute cardio sesh, I quickly mixed together a bowl of:

*Because I knew I was not going to sit down to breakfast until 11:15ish (I eat late!), this worked because I had a minimum of 4 hours soaking time, otherwise, I would usually prepare these overnight, hence the name of the recipe <wink wink>.
**It’s important to clarify that I do not like to eat anything prior to working out, and I am not usually hungry for breakfast until 10:30-11ish. But I do ALWAYS EAT BREAKFAST, it’s just what works for MY BODY, not to say it works for everyone.**
*9:30am-11:00am—> Appointment across town.
*11:15am—> BREAKFAST TIME! :)
*1pm-2pm—> Counseling Appointment
*2:30pm—> Make myself a Black Bean & Egg Taco to fuel me for the next 3 hours while I’m at my 3 o’clock appointment Uptown.
Taco Consisted of Following:
1 Free Range, Organic Egg+ Extra Egg White, Scrambled
1 Small Ezekiel Sprouted Corn Tortilla heated stove-top until crisp, folded like taco immediately after being removed from heat so it holds shape.
1/4 Cup Refried Organic Black Beans, Spread inside tortilla before adding eggs
*3pm-5pm—> Appointment Uptown (Take Trilogy Kombucha with me)
*5:30pm—> Home (Finally!) & SNACK TIME! Snack time consisted of the following:
*1/3 Cup Watermelon Chunks
Which consisted of:
-1/2 Small Granny Smith Apple sliced into chunks
-1/4 Cup Blueberries
-1 tsp Flaxseeds
- 2 tsp Almond Butter drizzled + 2 T of Almond Butter on a spoon because I’m obsessed & it’s amazeballs!
*Dinner: Obviously I haven’t gotten this far in my evening yet, but I have a plan, Dolls! Yes I do! … On the menu:
Whole Wheat Orzo, Heirloom Tomato, & Fresh Basil Salad

*Dessert: I’m brainstorming now! I’m in the mood to bake, and I’d like to have something healthy & delish on-hand if I’m in the mood to eat sweet post-dinner! …Something chocolate-chocolatey sounds amazeballs…

That’s all for now…I need to shower + lie in bed with an ice mask + listen to classical music for 30 minutes STAT! (<— my idea of unwinding).
